This week I read:
Academic OneFile
Nelson, Adele. "Sensitive and nondiscursive things: Lygia Pape and the reconception of printmaking." Art Journal 71.3 (2012): 26+. Academic OneFile. Web. 30 Jan. 2014.
This article helped me relate my ideas of planes and interactivity to my current art work.

After I talked with Chinn and read this above article, I realized out that I shouldn't get disconcerted if I don't know how to hinge my planar objects together--I shouldn't focus on the smaller details right now. I just need to start creating objects to do my performance/interactive art. Later, I thought of ways I could hinge planes using the tension of cut outs, or stringing planes together via a Jacob's wooden ladder type technique. I am also considering using alternate materials instead of clay or cardboard to create the dams for my resin--such as wood and/or metal.
